Fish at last

Grant assisted by Paul finally caught a Bluefish (about 4kg) Grant and Lynn staying in the first cottage. Weather drizzly but hasn't stopped Dave  and Nige erecting afdak outside kitchen. Roofing supplied by Robyn and Paul, Jane and Deon.

Christmas 14/15

Margi and Dave arrived on 13th Dec with Lolo Dinky and dogs and slowly built up to having 20 for Christmas Eve feast. Margi Dave,Robyn Paul Alex Katherine and Dinky, Nigel Tammy and Dale,Jane Sasha and Mat, Clair Dave Nicci Rich Michelle Layla and Lyssa.

August 16th 2014

Margi and Dave spent weekend, and with the assistance of Viva, painted 3/4 of the outside of the house. It's starting to look pretty smart. Patrick and Ben arrived late on Sunday (delivering a car) and left early Monday. Good to see them again although not sure what to do with empty beer bottles!! 

July break at Kaysers

Peter and Denise arrived after long trip around the country for a few days. John and Wendy at their house so shared several meals. Lovely and warm day after Margi having spent a week at the festival.

5 Star shower!

Robyn and Paul donated new partitions for the shower - it's like showering in heaven! They took a posse of friends out for the weekend to participate in the paddle race at Chalumna

Spent a lovely couple of days with Christopher and Meryl - it's been far too long! Super weather and exciting watching batches of the sardine run passing by with the accompanying feeding frenzy!

May Day 2014

Margi and Dave plus dogs spending several days on a fixit up mission.
Firstly bandage and seal rondavel roof, and with the help of a local (named Viva!!! ) are tackling the bath room. Ceiling, wall and will be laying vinyl floor. Mom organising curtains etc. will also tile outside loo if we can find some sand.
Margi: dad stuck on roof nervously when a beautiful bright green snake decided to sun isn't self on the top of the ladder! He dropped the whole bucket overboard and wanted me to climb up and return it! Talk about super hero!

Easter 2014

Wonderful weather, Margi and Dave arrived on Thursday morning followed by Nige and Tammy on Friday, with Ryan and Mandy and Ava for the weekend  and Mathew and Michelle Deas for the day.
Have started to erect a fence in the front so that we can bring the Dogs next time. Buddy has the habit of running off to the beach.
